In a clever mix of fact and fiction, SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE JERSEY LILY has the beautiful British actress Lillie Langtry (Virginia Burke) seeking help from the brilliant detective Sherlock Holmes (Steve Hendrickson) in a discreet matter involving blackmail, some missing jewels and the Royal Family. Our hero gets some help from his sidekick, Watson (Steve Lewis), and the legendary Oscar Wilde (Craig Johnson) as the infernal Professor Moriarty (James Cada) tries yet again to ruin the day.

Playwright Katie Forgette (The O'Conner Girls) brings together the wit and wisdom of Wilde, Arthur Conan Doyle and even William Shakespeare to offer up a delightful escapade that includes seduction and secrets, lies and lilies, mistresses and mayhem. David Mann directs the regional premiere of Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily, which opens at Park Square Theatre, 20 W. Seventh Pl., Saint Paul, on June 11 (previews begin June 4) and runs through July 3.
Also appearing on stage are Amanda Whisner (Mrs. Irma Tory/Mrs. McGlynn) and Brian Sostek (multiple roles). The Sherlock Holmes artistic team includes Mary Beth Gagner (costumes), Sarah Holmberg (properties), Mike Kittel (lighting), C. Andrew Mayer (sound) and Rick Polenek (scenic).
